Watersafe Testimonials |
| |
| Max Mayfield - the retired longtime director
of the National Hurricane Center in Miami, commented to
USA Today at the National Hurricane Conference, that he
was "personally fascinated by the 65 Gallon bathtub
bladders |
| |
| Wes KinseyWe had a relatively uneventful episode with Hurricane
Ike this year. We filled a bag in our tub and one in our
sink. We also gave the in-laws a tub bag. Houston water
was not potable for more than a week, and we really appreciated
having ready drinking water. Our neighbor brought us a
story that added to our satisfaction with the bags. He
was sitting his son's pug dog for the week and could hear
the dog whimpering somewhere in the house. He finally
tracked the little mutt down stranded in their tub full
of (formerly) drinking water! We were happy not to be
in those shoes. But we had lots of clean water to share
with them. |

| Mike Crain - President North County California
CERT, "after the Rice Canyon Fire in North San Diego
County, we found the 5 gallon mini and 55 gallon heavy
duty models most useful. Families were going to put trailers
on their property after the fire to rebuild their homes.
The Watersafe was a perfect solution to contain the water
that they needed. We are so excited about your product;
we are promoting it as much as possible. We have even
added it to our website at http://northcountycert.com/LinkNation2.htm.
Wild fires are our biggest concern here in Southern California
and people can go without water for weeks. Watersafe is
a great solution to providing water to the survivors no
matter where they are." |
| |
| Eric Salna - Television Meteorologist American
Emergency Network, "The Watersafe is a useful new
item for you emergency preparedness kit. It stores the
water you need and protects it from bugs and other contaminants" |
| |
| Matt Lawrence - Preparedness Expert and Author
of the book "What to Do 'til the Cavalry Comes",
"Having lived in South Florida all my life I can
tell you that the one way to reduce your hurricane anxiety
is being prepared, ensuring you have a few products on
hand can reduce that anxiety before the storm. In my search
for innovative products I found one of the best inventions
in the last decade, Watersafe". |

| Jon Erwin - Special Projects Coordinator, Office
of Emergency Operations, State of Florida, Department
of Health, "After Hurricane Wilma, we found isolated
pockets of senior citizens in a multi-story apartment
complex. They had no power and no water. We found that
getting water to the 4th and 5th floors was a very difficult
task as we needed a lot of manpower to carry jugs of water
up to the victims. The water was very heavy and a lot
of trips needed to be made to ensure all of the seniors
had sufficient water. I was excited to learn about the
Watersafe 55 gallon heavy duty model. Now, we can have
our responders carry a full case of Watersafes upstairs
and distribute one to each apartment. We will be able
to pump fresh water through the windows to fill up the
bags with potable water. This will make the efforts of
the responders much simpler and a lot less cumbersome."
The utilization of the Watersafe, moving forward, will
save thousands of dollars in payroll and the cost of bottled
water, and most importantly, allow response teams to be
focused in more critical activities." |
| |
| Matt Whiteshield - Margate Fire Rescue - "As
a firefighter, having water is a vital part of our job.
Not only to suppress a raging fire, but to keep those
working in these extreme conditions hydrated. The Watersafe
is a necessity when working on large scale incidents such
as a wildland fire, extended rescue operation, or for
a hazmat situation. The Watersafe is a tremendous resource
for water as it is portable and can be brought directly
to the scene to supply emergency workers with fresh water.
It can also be used to supply water for the public who
might have been evacuated." |
| |
| Romayne Berry - hurricane victim. "I had
a few bottles of drinking water," "But being
without water for almost a week, I was confronted with
how much was really needed for washing basics. The loss
of water was worse than having no electricity." Most
people don't realize how much water is necessary for cleaning,
bathing, brushing teeth and flushing toilets until they
have none. |

Dennis Brown - COO, Aquamira Technologies, Inc.
"We recommend adding Aquamira Water Treatment to
the Watersafe Mini, Bathtub, and Heavy Duty storage
containers to provide safe, clean and fresh tasting
water with maximum storage life. Aquamira water filtration
products can be used for assuring microbiologically
safe water on the go. For example, water stored in the
Watersafe can be transferred into the Aquamira Water
Bottle for drinking on the go, or placed in a glass
and filtered as you drink with the Frontier® Filter
Straw.
Typically, when the Watersafe is filled with tap water,
prior to an emergency, it is safe to drink. Treating
the stored water with Aquamira will improve the taste
of the water and prolong its storage life. Municipal
water systems can be damaged during an emergency making
the safety of the water questionable. If the Watersafe
is filled with questionable water, Aquamira will eliminate
contaminants that would make the water unsafe to drink.
Aquamira is proud to be chosen as the provider of water
treatment and filtration solutions for use with Watersafe
storage containers."

| Gerald Writt, Jr. - Store Manager, "As a
Store Manager for a major regional grocery chain for 27
years, it has been my experience that hurricane preparedness
is very important to the community. As a community partner,
we need to provide valuable resources to our customers
in times of need.
The Watersafe is a great solution to storing water
in the event of a hurricane or other disasters. We are
working with MR Crafts currently to get the Watersafe
onto our store shelves, as we believe the product will
move quickly.
I would recommend that any store that provides hurricane
supplies to the public carry the Watersafe. It should
be readily available to the public."

from
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I was faced with a whole new
world of disaster
preparedness moving into hurricane prone South Florida....High

result, I saw a tremendous opportunity to generate revenue
for the Red Cross
by developing a disaster preparedness kit for the South
Florida market.
